Liz and Damian Rogers had a smart little boutique and Lucie Martin had been thrilled to get a job working there. She was only 17 and therefore a bit green. Nice and young and innocent looking and perhaps those innocent looks appealed to Damian – and to Liz. The boutique carried a range of smart street clothes plus underwear, some of it quite sexy; but there was also that room at the back. It was normally kept locked except when there was a special client, usually a woman, and then it was always Liz who took the client through. Lucie only worked in the front of the house. Naturally she was curious and that curiosity was answered at the end of Lucie’s first week, on Friday before finishing time.
Damian was out on business and Liz came up to her and gave her a heavy look. ‘Shall I show you something interesting, Lucie? One of our little secrets?’
Lucie followed Liz out to the back where she unlocked the door. Inside was a smallish but brightly lit room with two big mirrors. On a table were two glossy catalogues of female models wearing all kinds of kinky erotic clothing and as Liz proceeded to open cupboards and doors there was revealed an extensive collection of the same sort of thing, all shiny black latex and leather and rubber. Lucie couldn’t believe her eyes.
Suddenly there was Liz’s hand at her waist and Liz’s rather deep voice.
‘What do you think, young Lucie; would any of this suit you?’
Lucie was still too dumbfounded to answer. Liz gave a husky, sexy laugh.
‘No, I don’t think it’s for our Lucie. She’s a sweet little submissive, isn’t she? And this is for dominant ladies.’
And then Liz’s hand left Lucie’s waist and smacked the young girl’s bottom. Two sharp smacks and after the second one the hand stayed there and gave Lucie’s bottom a deliberate squeeze…

Being spanked by Maurice was an enormous first step in a new direction, but I had taken it and I had survived. The next day we spoke on the phone and arranged that I would travel down to his house in two weeks’ time for a weekend of “continuing therapy”. While preparing Encore Janus 10 and 11 we discovered the contact sheets from Nicola Redway’s final appearance in Janus 68. We were able to recover some previously unseen images from these sheets as our regular columnist, Fiona Lewison, explains:
These photos, taken by Vic Barnes for a photo-story in Janus 68, have been scanned from the original contact sheets. Sadly, the negatives have not survived so, even at maximum resolution, our archivist Jon Rayworth could not make them any bigger than about 5in x 4in. But I think you will all agree that they are, nevertheless, of great interest.
Nicola Redway was a hugely popular Janus model, appearing in no fewer than four editions, and it’s not difficult to see why. Whether as a giggling schoolgirl in Janus 23 and Janus 46 or, as in this case, a prospective employee, Nicola won our hearts with her beauty, her lovely figure and a vivacious joie de vivre that was very infectious.

Three new magazines have been added to the Janus Online Shop this morning – Phoenix 47, Justice Vol.2 No.13 and Encore Janus 11.
Encore Janus 11 features a further eighty incredible photos of Nicola and Priscilla.
The girls appeared together for the final time when they were interviewed in Janus 48. Very few of these images have ever been seen in this quality and there are quite a few here that have never been published before. Vic Barnes really does capture both girl’s playful personalities with these candid photos.
Nicola’s swan song came two years later in Janus 68. Looking as lovely as ever, she returned to get the cane – by popular demand, no doubt! What an elegant caning it is. Replete with images of nervous anticipation, impact shots and punishment marks, Nicola departs with a well caned bottom.
A long-time Janus fan once told me that the images of these photo stories remain burnt on his brain! I’m sure he’s not alone. Hopefully this collection, together with Encore Janus 10, will refresh those memories with detail and clarity that couldn’t be seen thirty years ago.
