Three new spanking magazine downloads have been added to the Janus Online Shop this weekend. Janus Vol.4 No.9, Blushes Vol.2 No.23 and Privilege Plus 9 can all be found by clicking on the highlighted links.
Over the years many Janus readers sent personal spanking photos and letters to the magazine. We are fortunate that many of these photos still reside in our archive and we’ve included a few of them in past updates on this page.
We were recently contacted by AM and JA who were kind enough to send in some of their own photos to include on the site. AM takes up the story:
“I have been collecting spanking magazines and videos for some time, and have been lucky to have been able to spank many of my girlfriends, ex wife, and current wife, also some have let me film them. With my current wife, we have made over 35 spanking videos, and taken many stills. The last few years I have treated my wife to many short holiday breaks away in holiday cottages, for my reward, she has allowed me to spend one evening of the holiday, to film another video. We usually have an idea for the shoot, and the clothing before we go, I like some sort of uniform, together with suspenders and stockings, and of course, high heels. The cottages I book are usually detached and quiet, that way we can really get into the role play. I must say some of the videos are rather good, considering, I have to set the camera beforehand.
If I had the budget, I would love to make a video in a manor house, with a few more ladies, perhaps a Victorian theme, something there for the professional studios maybe.
One last point, you might think my wife is well into spanking, but actually, although she is ok with it now, she thought it was a bit weird for someone to like this sort of thing.”

Tom Haggard’s account of three young women who receive the cane ‘Vienna Style’ from Februs 8 has just been uploaded to our Spanking Stories page.
Janus 12 features a charming, simple set of black and white photos of a ‘schoolgirl’ caning.
The irresistible tomboy (who is not named as photo fantasies hadn’t yet started in the magazine) can also be seen in two Roue videos – ‘4 O’clock Report’ and ‘The Rebel at St Angela’s’. These beautifully lit photographs perfectly capture the build up, administration and aftermath of a caning. The two outdoor images are just the cherry on the cake!

Janus was recently contacted by Samantha Richards, who had modelled for Blushes in the 1980s. Samantha had not appeared in any other spanking magazines and was wondering if we might be able to locate her appearance. She had never seen the photos or the magazine they had been featured in. This was obviously a piece of detective work for our resident archivist Jon Rayworth. Armed with only a photo of Samantha from her modelling days, Jon went through every issue of Blushes to create a short list of possible matches.
I’m pleased to say he found her! Samantha appeared in Blushes 20 in the photo fantasy ‘Russian Spring’. (You can download a copy of this magazine by clicking on the highlighted link.)
Samantha very kindly agreed to answer a few questions about her experience as a Blushes model…
Thanks for getting in touch with us Samantha. How did you become involved with Blushes?
I was living in London when I was 18 and managed to register with the Wright agency for some part-time modelling. During this time I was offered a few modelling assignments. I posed for a couple of other magazines but probably out of all of them the Blushes job was the most enjoyable. I seem to remember this was my last bit of modelling before giving up to have children.
What did they say to you about the subject matter and what would be expected of you?
Everyone was very professional and kind and I was immediately put at ease. I was young and I remember being a bit nervous at the time and not sure what to expect, especially when I was shown the outfit. I wasn’t actually caned though – the whole day was lots of fun.
How does it feel seeing these photos for the first time?
It’s funny that I have waited until now to be curious about them. I haven’t seen any of them before. It feels a bit weird seeing them after all this time and I wish I had seen them sooner. I was a bit embarrassed to ask at the time I guess! They were taken about 28 years ago so seeing them feels a bit spooky really, but in a good way. I always wished I had done more modelling but I settled down and had a family instead. It’s great to see them though.
