Three new magazines have just been added to the online shop. Janus Vol.5 No.2, Blushes 5 and Privilege Plus 14 are all available to download by clicking on the highlighted links.
Blushes 5 was a hugely popular issue which sold out soon after publication. Thanks to the help of a few collectors we are now making available a number of the remaining issues of Blushes, Blushes Supplement and Uniform Girls. In the next few weeks we shall be adding other early issues including Blushes 4, 13 and 23.

Further to our post ‘Two Cheeky Girls’ on the 5th March we are pleased to feature a bumper selection of out-takes and unseen images from the Janus 132 photo fantasy ‘Disciplinary Measures’. This photo story saw Tara Duncan and Natalie (both making their first appearance in Janus) encounter village disciplinarian Hilary Hanbury-Boyce. As these images prove there was quite a lot of laughter on the day of this particular shoot – the final candid shot is a classic!
One of the many front covers that were discussed in our recent interview with Janus photographer Vic Barnes was Janus 132. The magazine will shortly be added to our online shop and we thought you’d enjoy seeing these wonderful out-takes alongside the eventual cover shot. Seeing these photos it’s not hard to imagine what a handful Tara and Natalie must have been on the same shoot!
More unpublished photos from their first appearance in Janus will follow so watch this space. You can already download Tara’s other appearances in Janus 139, 155 and 156. Natalie appears in Janus 133 and 138.

If you bought Janus in the 1980s and 90s you were looking at the photography of Vic Barnes. Vic created some of the most memorable photo fantasies ever produced and worked with just about every top Janus model.
One snowy February afternoon Jon Rayworth caught up with Vic to talk about his career as a photographer and specifically his time working on the magazine. Their topics of conversation ranged from Nicola Redway to Antonia du Bois, from tramlines to impact shots and motor cycles to Tina Turner!
