Februs 30 has a delightful black and white punishment PT photo shoot tucked away inside. Unusually for Februs the accompanying story, ‘Good Night, Gym Bob!’, doesn’t fit well with the images and doesn’t give a name for the rather lovely young model. Fortunately our archivist has turned up the paperwork to reveal she was to be called Kimberley Connor.

We hope you enjoy this selection of published and unpublished images of Kimberley. It seems a shame she only appeared once, but at least we can now put a name to her face and bottom!

Mentor Vol.1 No.1 is where it all began! The magazine is essentially the very first issue of Janus. Mentor changed its name to Janus from Vol.1 No.5 as it conflicted with the title of an existing publication. Eagle eyed readers will spot that Mentor was produced by ‘Janus Publications’ and the Janus logo was visible on page three. A member of the editorial team suggested Janus would be a good title for the magazine if a change had to made.

Mentor focused on a range of different fetishes and there is a wide selection of articles covering such topics as ‘High heel fantasia’, ‘Soft leather’ and ‘Girls who like girls’. There is also a wonderful article with pictures and illustrations on ‘Discipline in the Bedroom’. In all, it’s a fascinating insight into views about sexuality in 1971.

Encore Janus 2 is now available to download and it features the first 80 photos from ‘The Punishment Officer’ photo shoot, which appeared in Janus 20.  The presence of Antonia du Bois elevates this classic, thirty-year-old photo story to legendary status among collectors.  Almost all the black and white photos have survived which means a total of 240 high quality images remain for our enjoyment.

Each image is presented on a full page to create the best possible record of this severe story.  Many of these photos are appearing for the first time and none have been seen in this quality before.  Encore Janus 2 focuses on Diana Parsons visit to the Punishment Officer and you’ll find a couple of images from the magazine below.  Also still available is Encore Janus 1 which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the St Winifred’s Trilogy. Both magazines are now on sale at £5 each.

Janus 139 has always been popular with collectors as it features the lovely Tara Duncan on the cover bending over for the cane. Hidden away inside, the second photo fantasy ‘In at the Deep End’ introduces us to the very shapely swimmer Natasha Bly. We thought you might enjoy seeing some unpublished images of Natasha and her wet bottom.

Also in Janus 139 is an ‘Encore Janus’ feature on ‘Punishment Ballet’ from Janus 22. Seven pages of photos are included (with some previously unseen images) making it an essential purchase for fans of the original photo shoot.
