Like many things in life, being punished was something that happened to others and Alison Hicks never imagined she would experience it.  Atonement at her school had meant withdrawal of privileges or extra work after class.  She believes that her studies would have been considerably enhanced if she were to experience aspects of an era she could only conjure images of.  She can only imagine how humiliating it must have been to take your knickers down and wait…and wait.

For that reason 19-year-old Alison is writing a definitive thesis on the subject of ‘proper’ punishment.  One can never truly understand something until one has lived through the experience though.  So she is about to discover what it means to get a good old fashioned hiding and she knows she deserves it…
